  For my self portrait, I used a picture that I took back when I was living in Miami. I really like the picture because it has lots of sun and nature surrounding it. This project took me about four days to complete due to the fact that I incorporated so many shadows and different colors to my hair. Each color is a different layer due to not being able to incorporate several colors in one shape.  My poster says "Do what makes your soul shine". The reason why I chose that quote is because sometimes we forget that we should be focusing on bettering ourselves and making ourselves happy. I really enjoy reading that quote on my day to day life because it motivates me and allows me to enjoy the little things in life. 

  The inspiration behind my logo does not have much explanation. I wanted something simple that people would recognize when they see it. I also wanted my logo to have not much color in order to still have most of the attention on my initials. My initials are unique and I really think they are visible in any size in which they are used in. The colors I chose represent confidence as well as happiness and tenderness. 

  Dear future me,   As I grow up, I will change, but I know that I will always want something out of myself.  In 20 years, you’ll be working in hospitality. You’ll be traveling the world while being accompanied by you husband and your children. I don’t plan on leaving my children behind while I discover new places.  These steps to achieving my goal are simple but require lots of work and dedication. Throughout your college years, you should focus on studying and continuing to get good grades in order to graduate top of your class. During the summers work in hotels. Meet new people, explore different places before settling down.Even though I know how I want my future to look, I cannot predict it will be exactly as I am panning it out to be. Some things may go wrong, and you will have to take a deep breath and just accept that. You have gone through so much, and you have worked so hard to live this life.
